SONIC R

Sonic R (ソニック R) is a little known racing game developed by Traveller's Tales and Sonic Team for the Sega Saturn and PC, the latter version being ported to the GameCube in Sonic Gems Collection. It features characters from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. The game is characterized by the same sense of environmental openness in the Sonic platformers. Not much games based on a movie are good. This one is an exception - although it's made from the movie Punisher, the game is perfect and offers many hours of fun. King's Bounty gave the concept of a hero that runs around the map, seen from the top, and collects creatures to fight for him, as well as resources to buy those creatures. As for Might and Magic (series), it has provided a setting for the game: heroes, creatures, land and quests were mostly like in Might and Magic. Heroes Chronicles was a series of spinoff titles based on the Heroes of Might and Magic III game engine. Geared toward new players, they were packaged scenarios of Heroes III generally priced at US$20. The scenarios were the only playable parts included; for features such as single maps, a map editor, or multiplayer, buying the original Heroes III was still required.

The plot of the Chronicles was set in the same world as the Might and Magic and Heroes of Might and Magic games, tied together by the character of Tarnum, who leads various armies and factions throughout them. The released Chronicles were:

* Warlords of the Wasteland (2000). Tarnum's original story, as a young Barbarian leading an uprising against the oppressive Wizard-Kings of Bracaduun.

* The World Tree (2000). As a Barbarian, Tarnum defends the World Tree from evil Barbarians and Necromancers. This was available as a free download for those who purchased two Heroes Chronicles games.
* The Fiery Moon (2000). The sequel to The World Tree continues Tarnum's quest on a moon populated by the demonic Kreegans. This was available as a free download for those who purchased three Heroes Chronicles games.
* Masters of the Elements (2000). Tarnum becomes that which he hates most, a Wizard, in a hectic bid to save the planet from the destructive Elemental Lords.
* Clash of the Dragons (2000). Tarnum takes up the bow and defends the Elves of AvLee as a Ranger while opposing the Dragon Queen of Nighon, Mutare.
* The Sword of Frost (2001). Tarnum must beome a Dungeon Overlord of Nighon to stop his former friend, the Elven Hero Gelu, from discovering the Sword of Frost. This campaign was one of two included in the single-disc installment, The Final Chapters.

           The Order of Marcus, long dormant in its isolation, is       
          expanding. The renowned ranger Cornelius, armed with his     
          spear and trained in the arts of subterfuge, has been         
          tasked with preparing the world of Illis for the coming of   
          the order.                                                   
                                                                       
          New Features Ranger Cornelius possesses a holy spear that     
          can apply special powers to his attacks. In Elven Legacy,     
          each unit's operation could only be performed once per turn   
          - one move and one attack. Ranger Cornelius can now use       
          special attributes of his sacred spear without losing his     
          turn.  For example, he can activate a paralysing stroke and   
          then throw the spear at the enemy. The enemy unit will not   
          only suffer damage from the attack, but they will also be     
          unable to move during the enemyÆs turn.

Arctic Racer is an arcade stunt car racing game, quite unusual for its unique arctic scenery and very 3D racing style with high hills, long jumps etc.In the game the player drives an ultra-modern vehicle with additional rocket engine.

In the late XXI century a new type of extreme sport evolved with the fast technological progress in car engineering. The development of car-mounted rocket engines and strong but thin carbon fibre armour gave the possibility of extraordinary car acrobatics with lower risk of getting injured in a car crash.
As always there are people who love adrenaline and maximize the risk, a new, dangerous sport has developed: monster car driving in an arctic scenery.
